This comes from my heart…

This comes from my heart…

Have you told yourself you loved yourself today?

Years ago, when I read that question from a correspondence course, those words stopped me in my tracks.

Had I ever done that before?  I couldn’t remember.  And yet, it made sense and touched my heart.

Do you tell yourself how wonderful you are?
Can you speak aloud some positive affirmations?
Can you pause in your day to “be” — and enjoy the moment?

When we think, speak or focus on loving ourselves, we’re actually imprinting positivity into our brains.  It then makes a difference in our physical well-being too.

We get to choose what we say to ourselves.

Remember:  Before we can give to others, we must give to ourselves.  I know it may sound unusual, but it’s true.  When we nurture ourselves first, then we have more to offer others.

Walking with nature is one way that I recharge my batteries. This week, in my walk with our dog, Shiloh, I happened to glance up at the tree on our front lawn.  Surprise!
Two large nests in the branches!  I marveled at these simple works of art.  I never noticed them before!

As I paused in the night air, the world stood still. I felt the peace of simply “being.”

Can you take the time to simply “be?”

To accept yourself with any imperfections?”
To love yourself — even if you fail at something? In the Japanese art of “Kintsugi,” people celebrate both the beauty and the imperfections of an art piece. You too are a beautifully crafted work of art.

To celebrate you this holiday season, I’m giving you a special gift.  It’s my “Craft Your Story For Success”program at a holiday discount, that includes a private story strategy session with me.

Please listen for a minute.

Please listen for a minute.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wherever we live and whatever we do, let us be thankful for our listening skills.

It’s our business to ask questions and listen to the answers. We get to help others decide the exact problem that needs solving.
Then, we help them solve it. Listening is crucial to building any relationship.
Listening demonstrates respect.
Listening shows you care.

When you listen, you’re connecting at the heart level.

If you can refrain from glancing at your cell phone, or from interrupting, your listening ability communicates that you value that person above anything else at that moment.

Our world needs more people who listen to each other. (Would you agree?)

Beyond that, we also need to listen to our own thoughts.

What are we saying to ourselves?

Our feelings become thoughts; those thoughts become actions; and the actions define who we are.

That becomes “the story” of our life.

As a “difference maker,” you get to create your life story through listening with greater awareness of the power
behind your words.

To magnify your results, I’ve decided to give you my “Craft Your Story Program” at a holiday rate.

You’ll get to listen — at your own convenience — to three recorded modules (and a bonus session!).

AND… whenever you’re ready, I’ve included a complimentary hour of private story consulting. (That makes this program almost free…)

No matter what, thanks for all you do.

I’m here to listen and let you know that I’m grateful for you.

To Your Success,
Lynn
We’re on a journey of being!

We’re on a journey of being!

We are here, you and I, on a journey of being.

A time to be all we can be during this “dash” of our lives.

A time to raise our awareness of how we can change the story of our lives by our thoughts.

Remember – we are human “be-ings…”

In this rush-rush world, where it can be easy to get caught up in daily “to-do’s,” no matter what happens on the outside, we can choose how to “be.”

Let us be kind to one another.

Let us be kind to ourselves.

Let us recognize the oneness we share.

For your reflection, here’s a message from F. Scott Fitzgerald:

“For what it’s worth, it’s never too late Or in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be.
There’s no time limit, start whenever you want.
You can change or stay the same.
There are no rules to this thing.
We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it.
I hope you see things that startle you.
I hope you feel things you never felt before.
I hope you meet people who have a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of and if you find that you are not,
I hope you have the strength to start all over again.” P.S.  I Believe In You!

Just had to share this wonderful story

Just had to share this wonderful story

We live our lives from the inside out.

When you recognize the connection between us all, you can live life from an expanded perspective.

Then, you may get to see the ripple effects of your positivity…
The results of your actions…
The smiles…

And when that happens, it’s BLISS!

Let me share what happened during my trip last week to San Diego.

It was Halloween morning, and my husband and I just finished a delicious breakfast outdoors at Snooze Eatery in Del Mar.

I wanted to show my appreciation to our very thoughtful server. So, I pulled out a blue ribbon with the words, “Who I Am Makes A Difference,” and honored Michelle, dressed up as a devil, for being such a friendly, kind person.

She was surprised and touched.  “No one ever does that!” She asked if I could please honor the manager, Chandler.

“Of course,” I answered.  Within two minutes, Chandler appeared in her motorcycle costume.  As I spoke from my heart in honoring her, I noticed how her eyes filled with tears.  I felt tears in my eyes too!

“You don’t know how much I appreciate that,” she said.  “I really needed it.” Then, the hostess Valerie rushed over and asked me if I could honor her TOO!

“Sure” I said.  She was so excited to get honored, as well as receive the two extra ribbons which I give to everyone.  This allows them to honor someone else, who can then pass on the third ribbon to anyone they choose.

Before I knew it, more people around me were wearing the blue ribbon! Smiles popped up like popcorn.

AMAZING!  The joy was palpable.

I called my friend, Sparky Bridges, Founder of Blue Ribbons Worldwide, who offered to drive over that afternoon and meet the manager.  When she arrived, a server named Mike helped us, and he got honored too!  Sparky was given a complimentary breakfast!

Check out the picture montage that’s shown above… and allow yourself to tune into the feelings you perceive… even through the masks.

There IS magic in being a giver.

When you value someone, the joy comes right back to you! Get ten free blue ribbons at:  http://www.blueribbons.org.
(You can order more, which goes towards providing programs that help eradicate bullying and boost self-esteem.)

I invite you to experience this magic yourself… honor someone — anyone — and watch what happens.  It’s perfect for Thanksgiving and beyond.

Remember — you have greatness inside you.
