New Year’s Wisdom For You

New Year’s Wisdom For You

Week #1 of the New Year! How did it go for you?

While we’re faced with world challenges, I’d like to offer a bouquet of uplifting thoughts.

Here are a few…

1.     Surround yourself with special people – “Go-Givers.”  Go-Givers is a name, coined by my friend and colleague, Bob Burg, for those who put relationships as the priority.  Give first.

2.     Be aware of the connections among us.   As my friend and colleague, Helice “Grandma Sparky” Bridges says, “Who you are makes a difference.”

3.     “Love the life you have, while you create the life of your dreams,” by Hal Elrod, Best-selling author of The Miracle Morning.  (“The Miracle Morning” movie too.)

4.     “There’s no one else in the world exactly like you.  So love yourself and live with gratitude.
You’re here for a Higher reason.
By Lynn Sanders

I believe we can make our life into whatever we want it to be.

We get to decide the reasons behind our challenges.

We get to choose how to deal with those challenges.

And we get to choose how we live each day… and how we wake up tomorrow.

Let’s make this year about creating the person we want to be.

Oprah says, “The biggest adventure is living the life of your dreams.”

What is the life of your dreams?

Let’s make 2022 the year for us to make it happen!

To Your Success,

What Life Story Do You Want To Create?

What Life Story Do You Want To Create?

Years ago, I was stunned by the first line of my Yoga correspondence.
“Did you tell yourself you loved yourself today?” Those words felt revolutionary.  When did anyone ever tell me that before?
I was used to focusing on my weaknesses.  My feeling of not being “enough.”
Love was something you gave to others… not oneself.

Still, those words reverberated inside my mind.  It got me thinking.  Maybe…maybe… I needed to consider being kinder to myself.

I wanted to please everyone, and I often didn’t think of what was best for me.
One day, while on a brief vacation to visit my parents in Florida, I remember busily writing a video script.  I was frustrated because I knew I made the wrong choice.  Why spend my time on a project when I had such limited time with my mom? My mom gently reminded me,  “Lynn, do you have to be doing all the time?
Why can’t you just be?”  Oh, she was so right.  How was I “being” with her?  She was supposed to be my priority during that stay, and instead, my attention was focused elsewhere.
Her words still resound in my heart and taught me a lesson…

We only have limited time.

After my mom’s sudden passing at the end of 2004, followed by a long healing journey,
I learned that every thought, word and action is a choice.  We get to choose how we “be” every day.

So, I ask you – on the precipice of 2021 leaving us, and looking ahead…

How do you want to BE in 2022?

·     What do you want your life story to be?
·      What steps will you take this new year?
·      Are you willing to take consistent action? Allow yourself space and time to reflect on what’s important to you.
Write down your dreams and goals.
Don’t hold back.

I believe we’re all put here for a Higher reason.

There is no one else in this world just like YOU!
So plan your work and work your plan.
There is no time like the present. Here’s to a happy, healthy, and fulfilling new year ahead.
I believe in YOU! To Your Success,
Lynn P.S.  Stay tuned for new opportunities, programs and connections!
I’d like to help YOU make a bigger difference in the new year!
A holiday inspirational message…

A holiday inspirational message…

Happy Holidays!  This is the time to reflect on where you’ve been and where you want to go.

Here’s a message that I love from author Robert Cooper, who remembers his grandfather’s words:

“We are each weaving an imprint on the world in ways that extend far beyond the horizons of our comprehension.”

Isn’t that profound?  You may never realize how powerful your imprint is on others and the world… because we don’t know what’s going on inside someone else.  Our thoughts, words and actions DO make a difference!

As my contribution to you, here’s my “hot-off-the-press” inspirational message on friendship.

                           LYNN’S INSPIRATION

“Never underestimate the power of friendship.  It nurtures the soul like warm cocoa and cookies…

keeping you nourished for the rest of your life.”   Lynn Sanders

                                    THOUGHT

In all the ups and downs of life, let us be grateful for dear friends.

Friends light up our life, uplift our spirit, and bring joy through a soul connection.

The magic of friendship makes life worth living. Friends become our true angels on earth, guiding and protecting us when we need help. They believe in us, inspire us, and cheer us on for our dreams.

Friends serve as a jumper cable to love… boosting our spirit when our engine slows down… giving us the energy to persevere
and step into our greatness.

As essential as food, friendships provide us with sustenance. Their spirit becomes a part of us forever.

QUESTION How do you cultivate and sustain friendships to leave a lasting legacy?

My Holiday Poem For You!

My Holiday Poem For You!

I wanted to give you an original holiday gift.

So — here’s a poem for you, (I just finished it after midnight!)

To represent the feeling behind this message,I decided to include a special photo (pre-Covid) of a wonderful interfaith friendship group…Jewish, Christian and Muslim. The people includes members from my Jewish Congregation Hakafa — which means encirclement.

On that trip, everyone traveled together to feed immigrants at the Texas border.  Their actions gave hope to asylum seekers, who had given up everything to find safety in the United States.

You also make a difference to others. And I’m grateful for that.

So — without further ado, here’s my tribute to acknowledge you!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

This comes from my heart…

This comes from my heart…

Have you told yourself you loved yourself today?

Years ago, when I read that question from a correspondence course, those words stopped me in my tracks.

Had I ever done that before?  I couldn’t remember.  And yet, it made sense and touched my heart.

Do you tell yourself how wonderful you are?
Can you speak aloud some positive affirmations?
Can you pause in your day to “be” — and enjoy the moment?

When we think, speak or focus on loving ourselves, we’re actually imprinting positivity into our brains.  It then makes a difference in our physical well-being too.

We get to choose what we say to ourselves.

Remember:  Before we can give to others, we must give to ourselves.  I know it may sound unusual, but it’s true.  When we nurture ourselves first, then we have more to offer others.

Walking with nature is one way that I recharge my batteries. This week, in my walk with our dog, Shiloh, I happened to glance up at the tree on our front lawn.  Surprise!
Two large nests in the branches!  I marveled at these simple works of art.  I never noticed them before!

As I paused in the night air, the world stood still. I felt the peace of simply “being.”

Can you take the time to simply “be?”

To accept yourself with any imperfections?”
To love yourself — even if you fail at something? In the Japanese art of “Kintsugi,” people celebrate both the beauty and the imperfections of an art piece. You too are a beautifully crafted work of art.

To celebrate you this holiday season, I’m giving you a special gift.  It’s my “Craft Your Story For Success”program at a holiday discount, that includes a private story strategy session with me.

The benefits are:
   * Expanded awareness to attract your ideal clients.
